Worcester Porcelain Spoon Tray with Rare Figure Decoration c1770.

A rare Worcester porcelain spoon tray, decorated in scale blue with cartouches of figures, flowers and bugs.  It is marked with a fretted square and dates to c1770.  It has a firing crack which is about 1/2 inch long and follows one of the flutes on the rim.  Otherwise condition is good with just a little wear.

Worcester Coffee Cup with Oriental Figures.


This is a super first period Worcester coffee cup decorated with oriental figures c1768.  In lovely condition though with a little wear to the gilding round the rim.

A good Worcester porcelain coffee cup, decorated with a blue and gold pattern and dating to c1780.  It is unmarked.

Fine Early Worcester Porcelain Fluted Coffee Cup.

A lovely first period Worcester fluted porcelain coffee cup, decorated with an exotic bird in a stylised landscape and a pair of moths either side of the handle.  The gilding is very fine and delicate, of the highest quality.  The gilt decoration on the handle is also of an unusual style and there's a thin gold line around the foot rim.  Marked with an underglaze blue crescent.  In very fine condition, just some wear to the gilt rim.

Fine Worcester Porcelain Coffee Cup, Queens Pattern.

A fine and attractive Worceseter porcelain coffee cup, decorated in the Queens Pattern and dating to c1770.  It is marked with a hatched square and is in fine condition.

Super Worcester Porcelain Spoon Tray, Queens Pattern.

One of the scarcest pieces in any tea/coffee service is the spoon tray, so we always try to buy good examples when we see them.  This is a particularly fine and attractive one, decorated in the Queens pattern and dating to c1770.  It is marked with a hatched square and apart from a little wear to the gilding on the rim is in very fine condition.

Good Worcester Porcelain Coffee Cup c1770.

A fine and attractive Worcester porcelain coffee cup, decorated with a blue, rust and gold pattern of typical Worcester style.  There is a very small (1mm) under glaze rim chip which dates to manufacture, otherwise it is in fine condition.  It is unmarked.

Fine Worcester Porcelain Coffee Cup, Queen Charlotte Pattern.

A fine Worcester porcelain coffee cup dating to c1770 and decorated in the Queen Charlotte pattern.  It is marked with an under glaze blue hatched square with circle around and is in fine condition, with just a little wear to the gilding on the rim.  (We also have a matching saucer, broken in half and re-glued which can be included with the cup free of charge if the buyer would like it.)

Lovely Worcester Porcelain Shaped Cup with Oriental Figure Decoration.

A fine Worcester porcelain shaped cup, decorated with a chinoiserie pattern of Chinese figures.  It is unmarked, dates to c1765 and is in fine condition except for a little wear to the gilding on the rim.

Early Worcester Porcelain Coffee Cup in Scarlet Japan Pattern c1770.

A fine and attractive early Worcester porcelain coffee cup decorated in a variation of the Scarlet Japan pattern, with the usual orange vertical bands with rosettes interspersed with brightly coloured oriental style flowers.  Light wear to the gilding on the rim, otherwise in fine condition.
