Worcester Porcelain and Lunds Bristol. Franklin A. Barrett. A hardback first edition, published in 1966. It concentates on the early years of porcelain manufacture in
Worcester, beginning with the take over of the Bristol factory of Benjamin Lund, production in those early years and the effects
of the closure of the Chelsea factory, before moving on to look at transfer printing, underglaze blue and figures. It
finishes with a brief look at the Flight and Barr periods and summary of the marks during the period in question. There
are a large number of photos, mostly in black and white but with a few in colour. A fascinating and useful reference
book.

English Porcelain Figures of the Eighteenth Century. Introduction by William King of the V&A. This is a wonderful old book, published by the Medici Society in 1925. After the introduction
by William King there follows about 80 pages of photos with 8 in colour and the remaining 72 in black and white of figures
from Bow, Chelsea, Derby, Chelsea Derby,Longton Hall, Lowdin's Bristol, Worcester, Plymouth, Bristol and Staffordshire.
There is no dust jacket, the cover is cloth on board with gold lettering to the front and spine and there is gold to the top
edge of the pages. There is a signature inside the front cover with the date 1925.
Condition.
No dust jacket, but otherwise in very good condition.
