Fine Chelsea
Derby Polychrome Dish c1780. A very fine Chelsea Derby dessert dish, with an unusual
combination of decoration. It has a pink outer band with a green rose border wrapped around, which is usually found
with similar green inner flowers. This one has polychrome floral sprays and sprigs in the well of the dish. It
is marked with a blue crown over D, combined with an incised N in script together with a footrim hole and has a sticker relating
to the Alasdair Morrison collection. It is in lovely condition with just light wear only.

Beautiful Chelsea Derby Custard Cup and Cover c1775.
This is a
very beautiful Chelsea Derby porcelain custard cup and cover, decorated in a multi-coloured pattern. It is marked
with a gold anchor and D and dates to c1775. Sadly the finial has broken off the top and there is a short stress
hairline to the body by the handle. Still a very lovely and decorative cup with it's original cover in an unusual
pattern.
** A similar custard cup and cover in the same pattern, though with an intact finial, sold at Bonhams,
London in September 2009 for £1,140 including buyers premium.

Chelsea Derby Fluted
Cream Jug with Unusual Decoration. A most unusually decorated Chelsea Derby fluted cream jug, with straight lines of flowers
below the lip and to the other side along the handle line. There is a small amount of decoration to the base along a
short firing fault and quite remarkably there is a ring of leaves inside the base of the jug. We have never
seen a piece of Chelsea Derby decorated this way. It is marked with an entwined anchor and D in gold, there are two
chips to the rim and one to the base.

Chelsea Derby Tea Bowl with Incised N c1778.
A good Chelsea Derby tea bowl, decorated with a blue border and floral groups. It is marked with a crown over
D in blue, an incised N in script and a footrim hole. The incised N is difficult to see as it is under the blue D, but
it is definitely there. It dates to c1778. There is one fairly significant chip to the rim, but still attractive
and an interesting piece.

Stunning Chelsea Derby Dessert Dishes c1775.
A quite stunning Chelsea Derby square, fluted dessert dish, decorated with hand painted floral swags hanging
from gold medalions attached to a gold dentil rim, all surrounding a rose decorated neo-classical urn. It is marked
with an entwined gold anchor and D and has a gold band around the footrim, a sure sign it comes from a high
status service. It dates to c1775. The decoration is still vibrant, the glaze is still fresh, bright and
clear. It has a little wear to the gilding and a very small old chip to the reverse of the rim. This
measures about 2mm and is not visible at all when on display. It looks quite magnificent.
