A large and impressive
Worcester blue and white tankard, decorated in the Natural Sprays pattern and dating to c1770. Standing almost 6 inches
high, this tankard would form a very impressive centrepiece in any blue and white collection. It is marked with a blue
hollow crescent.
It has a slight weakness to the upper handle
attachment which dates to manufacture and a restored chip to the rim. This restoration is of only medium quality. No
other chips, cracks or restoration.

Very Early Blue and White Worcester Cup, c1753.
A lovely Worcester blue and white decorated cup dating to the very early years of porcelain production, c1753.
The cup is small - just 2 inches high - and ribbed with a slightly flared top which has seven lobes. The footrim is
also shaped with seven lobes. It has a blue floral pattern painted round the top of the cup with a little more very
simple decoration on the handle. Underneath there's a blue workman's mark and the remnants of an old collectors
ticket.
In wonderful condition, with no chips, cracks or restoration. These are now so hard to find in this fine condition.

and White Flared Circular Basket.
A wonderful 1st period
blue and white circular basket of flared form with a border of interlaced circles and blue rosettes applied to the exterior.
Transfer printed in underglaze blue with the pinecone pattern. Unmarked. C1770. Apart from some slight damage
to a few of the petals of the applied rosettes, in superb condition with no chips, cracks or restoration. A rare
find and a very fine piece of Worcester blue and white porcelain.

A fine 1st period Worcester blue and white Fence Pattern coffee cup and saucer, c1775. A little
kiln dust to the base of the cup and a very old and short hairline to the footrim only. The cup is marked with
the blue W and the saucer with the hatched crescent.
